awesome bus captain

today i saw 2 episode on the bus that make me feel that bus captain is awesome!

firstly, in the afternoon after cutting my hair. i was on the bus going towards the train station when a man make a din about this woman slapping her on the face in the bus.(i guess the woman accidentally hit him as the bus was quite pack at that point).?
then he called for the bus to stop to let him and the woman out of the bus. the bus captain(who is a female) hesitated but in the end open the back door. the 2 of them went down with the woman crying like hell and the man shouting all the nonsense like "i am a man you know, and you slap me! i'm gonna ask my daughter to slap you" and stuff. then the man was like pushing the woman at the bus stop. the bus captain went down to save the woman for further hurt by letting her into the bus and left the man at the bus stop. in the end we the whole bus need to be stopped at the next bus stop and transfer to another bus cause the bus HQ ask the bus to stop fetching people.(i guess to investigate the case)

secondly, when i was heading back home, a wheelchair bound woman wanted to get up onto the bus. the bus captain took the trouble of putting the ramp and pushing her up and making her comfortable before proceeding off.

i was quite touch at this 2 incident and who is to say that Singaporean are not polite and gracious and *inset goos qualities here*.

so i think for every job you do, do to the best of your ability and you can touch life. no matter what you do.

we cannot take it already

but as we grow older
we see more and know more, this eventually pushes our acceptable limits higher and higher
there is no end to where this limit can be pushed
and then our moral values comes in to draw a very thin line to where it is acceptable or not
this is the thin line that we cannot and should not cross
once it is cross, all hell break lose and there is no turning back

i thought a motorbike is just a bicycle with a motor attached.
i was wrong.

a motorbike is like a bicycle with motor attached which needs to be driven by a qualified rocket scientist.
there is so many things to look out for
and i am born only with ONE pair of eyes.
and the scorching afternoon sun coupled with the helmet is not helping either

i think i need a brain for each limbs i own
then maybe driving the motorbike will be much simpler

oh and i recently starting running around my estate
so that i wont become some fat pig when i go back to camp
and the view is actually not so bad here
im happy i lived here =)

haha! funny show.

but i didnt watch in 3D

so the last part of the show where the minion was doing stupid stuff

was not that relevant cause im not wearing 3D glasses

but its fine. its a light hearted funny watchable movie

the story is so weird and time wasting and unrealistic and not funny

nor touching

haha. i think everyone should installed this apps on their ipod and iphone

keeps you entertain for like 10 mins.

it is the start of block leave

and i am sick

though i completed route marching 24km and the full POP

this i am quite proud of myself

but after the parade my body fell apart

i think is cause got no target to hold onto already

last week i got better cause i wanted to do the 24km route march and POP

so that my mum can put on my jockey cap for me in the parade

thats why i am so reluctant to report sick

and so i didnt report sick and go to the medical centre in camp

but after the parade

my throat became super duper pain and

the sick feeling inside me got worse

oh and i got a red right eye

so i went to the doctor and got 58 bucks worth of stuff to eat and drink and put in my eye

the doc say maybe is virus

the whole company is sick la!!!

now whenever i swallow or talk my throat will feel a bit pain

i think my throat is quite weird

4e1 chalet was fun.

all guys and no girls

then more freedom

the extreme skate park at ecp is great! got this bowl thingy that is super scary

we went in and must run really fast to climb out

kind of like the quatum tunnelling bowl thingy

feel like a fish bowl

now i know what it is like to be trapped inside a fish bowl.

yeah! finally went to watch body world at science center.

i like it!

though the experience is spoiled by the entrance of school going young adults which made alot alot of noise at the exhibition hall.

which i think its kind of disrespectful to those bodies there.

its like a making a huge din at a funeral

laughing and giggling over the real life bodies of the donors

but it is nice to see the human form from the very beginning right up to old age.

not only do we see bodies of humans. we saw bodies of animals like horse giraffe and reindeer.

i LIKE science center!

last time when i was a child i thought of buying the whole shop outside science center cause they sell really interesting things!

but now when i go back, dont have that feeling already.

though still as interesting but its too ex! tsk

oh yar did i mentioned passion card totally rocks!

our tickets from 21 bucks become 17 dollar eh! wohoooooo

and i treat samuel tan to a nice filling mac meal for accompanying me to body world!

alright on monday i will be some free birdie

went to look out for prom clothes yesterday with sara and junhao
it is either far too expensive or does not fit too well with my body
still need to buy bottoms and shoes with the shirt and blazer capping at 100 plus. i guess my prom budget better be below 200 cause i got a feeling i wont wear much of the pro stuff after prom itself.
then it will be a waste of money right!

oh and i got my phone changed from W760i to a W595.
with a pathetic extention of warrenty of 3 month only. it better dont spoil as much this time as compared the the last one

the finale of the show by Kiki tay
pardon the nonsensical commentary in the background, i was reacting to the magic too! haha

the magic is good. learn alot from the "master pro-s" but all stage stuff, though i will see some close up item but still it was a good show. too bad Jeremy Tan aka Magic Hands didnt perform his dove routine, hear that it was really good though.

i think the most enriching part of the night was the end of the show where all 10 magician were outside the theatre talking to people and audiences. i got to talk to most of the magicians and talked about routining and stuff which i though was quite useful for me. it is not so much how the magic is achieve but the Character of the Magician, quite true eh.

PW results are out

that means finally a huge burden is lifted off my cheast
but a even larger one is place over it again
and that is the A level

and i think PW is a stupid subject
i really feel for some for they have put in so much hardwork but in the end
the result they get is not the result that they deserves
that mean their effort is not proportional to the final outcome
that makes me real real sad
and angry too

because on the other hand
there are those people who is very obvious has not been putting alot of effort in to their PW
but in the end gotten more or less the same result as others that have put in so much more hardwork
and i think thats not right

from what i heard about alot of other PW groups
i hear lots of leeches and suckers around
who don't care much about their group work and focuses only on their individual work
in the end their whole group suffers

and also there is the marking system
how do you mark a PW report?
that GPF?
that WR?
all those is not reflective of the efforts by in by the individual candidates
maybe one can argue that that helps to train teamwork
but i doubt so
some people are just like that
always trying to take the easy way out
for what is the worse that they could get?
this is PW we are talking about
marked in singapore
marked by our teachers
at least they can get is a C
so why waste that extra effort?
those people are outright disgusting to think that way
letting your team mates do what you are supposed to be doing
and in the end getting the same result as you because they are spread too thin

okay.
just came back from ODAC OEC camp
slept for 14 hours straight from 7 yesterday
first time sleep so early

have beeen planning for this camp like forever
going through drafts after drafts of proposal by the the taskforce
receeing the route
receeing the games comm stations
buying of food
even up to the last day of camp i went to collect the last and perhaps going to be the last shirt for odac
turn out nice!
but was disappointed that my yellow odac tee print is coming out real bad
awwwwww

hmmm
i am not sure how to describe them
but i think they still don't get the sense of urgency part
hope they will chnage for the better in the few training that is left before we J2s step down
if they continue with that kind of attitude
i don't know if they could survive the climb up the mountain
but still
it is a great accomplishment for them to complete the camp
congrats!

thanks J2s that have help run this camp amids all the stress the stupid BT1 have been giving

i was soaking wet when i took this photo cause we practically ran in the rain cause it rained super heavily before the show starts therefore accounting for my hair, wet look

waste alot of time walk to and fro the stage area and the tentage cause have to take sticker all those crap due to security concern and the whole floor is wet la and my shoe got holes!

so...my whole feet is wet for like 5 hours!

we went into Area 1 and do our stuff entertaining the people at the vvip area
i did afew cards routine and alot of spongeballs routine
cause i was performing mostly to kids
and i found foreigher's reaction are always better than locals

i think cause Singaporean always want to find out how the magician does it and so could not enjoy the magic

he is sitting there and we as magicians was like ants attracted to honey

he is really friendly when we went up and want to take picture with him

i shall blog about my life this past few days!

went back to ZHSS to crash their sec 1 orientation
taken by this years' graduates
since i know all of them
i decided to go back and have a look at what kind of camps they are planning
too bad Ernest was too tired and could'nt join us
it was fun man
ALWAYS love sec 1 orientation man
the spirit is so high though people are just getting to know each other

and it is so sad that when i went back alot have change
new sports hall
new "big ass" fan in the hall
new motto
new vison/mission
new core values(why can this change? i don get it they are core values. hello understand?)
new table and bench in the canteen
new general office layout
new extention of the staff room
though it has been barely a years since i last went back to get my o level results
oh speaking of which this years graduates are taking theirs soon
and i am taking my A level soon too

okay these is what i've been up to this past week
outing gathering and meetings

1st the guys outing...
was supposed to buy clothes for chinese new year
but in the end after soccer everyone was tired
so after bathing at ny we headed to city hall to have our lunch and swenson to eat the 2 free ice cream!
we are finished that in record time! haha!

then theres ODAC da sao chu
went back at on new year eve to clean and re arrange the room throughly
look at the big mass man!

we move everything out and sweep and mop the whole place with dettol antiseptic wash

okay so today we are supposed to leave the house by 10 to eat our breakfast before setting out to shop using cash voucher our cousin gave us
but you know what!
my sis being my sis woke up late la!
i woke up like at 9am
tried my very best to wake her up but in the end she woke up at like 11am?
so bath and wash up and do whatever we do in the morning
it is like already 11.30am!

have our breakfast downstairs and when we are in the MRT it is like 12.30pm already!
so late right!
but i was glad we didnt go out earlier cause shopping is really tiring man!

i admire girls who always go shopping!

okay first stop: Plaza Singapura
first shop: Levi Strauss & Co

okay so ther is this deal in Levis where you can trade in whatever brand of jeans to get 50 dollar off a pair of jeans that cost 100 dollars or more
but being levis EVERY SINGLE jeans we see is like above $140+++

so i eyed 2 pair of 501 jeans but in the end (which is like 40 mins later) i choose this pair
comfortable and NICEEEEE! i like...

next my sis saw this shirt opposite levis store that is being retail at 10 dollars!
so i went to try and bought it
colour combi quite nice huh!

went to walk around PS and next went to Swenson to fufil the 2nd objective of the day
to eat 2 free ice cream!
casue the insurance company gave my parent this voucher to redeen 2 free ice cream from Swenson
so being "aunties-in-nature" we ordered teh 2 MOST expensive ice crean there! haha

so we decide to abandon centrepoint and head to compass point hoping to find things to buy there
initially we wanted to get wallets from 77th street BUT their wallets are...
not really not not nice
so we walked around trying to spend the cash voucher cause it is expiring soon

in the end we went into giordano and my sis bought a 3/4 pants and i bought 2 basic tees
1 white 1 black
and we only need to top up $3.40 and we walk away with 3 items! haha

okay want to work in the afternoon

was a good paying job $7.50/hr
giving out flyers to parents at the secondary school

because today is supposed to be the sec 1 registration day

but there is this mis-culculation resulting in "not-very-good" business at that period

anyhow i was posted to ACS(barker road) to distribute flyers
in the end i ended up with giving flyers to letter boxes around the estate

but it is good la
can exercise while you work
good work out! hahha!

then collected pay at st margs
took a bus down to PS
walked to the cathay to eat bens and jerry with the 20 dollars voucher that we won in the amazing race thing

ate "mix&match" apple pie and apple crunchie
topped up like 2 bucks only!

okay went to collect our "certificate of appreciation"

by Youth Developement Centre

which is a subsidary of The Salvation Army

this is MY cert

my whole PW team got the same cert too

they gave us this in appreciation of working with them for our PW project

we taught 2 of their youth magic

life skills man!

at least SOMEONE appreciate our hardwork

it is really hardwork okay

our pilot project spans over 1 month and we really went down every tuesday to teach them magic

then we sacrifice our week ends to do street busking

don't think our teachers appreciated it though

but hopw i can get A for PW next year

okay i am back in Singapore already
lucky it is still cold out here in Singapore
or else i dono how i am going to adapt to the weather here
okay as can see from the above picture i went to Vietnam with ODAC for an expedition
to climb Mount Fansipan!
at Vietnam, Ha Noi, Lao Cai, Sapa

was a different experience from the OCIP trip
but i think i learned something new whenever i went abroad
maybe because going abroad force me to think and reflect
learn more about others and myself

this time i think i was more of a tourist and mountain climber than a traveller
but still i learned from this experience
the people in Vietnam
their culture
their life
their livelihood

the Club bonded more i guess
i think it wouold be good if there is another expedition where everyone in the club go together
JUST the club
i think that will bond us and make us understand each other better
so it is a pity that those going for UK or OCIP didnt get the chance to go to Mt. Fansipan

went to watch the water puppet show
it was amazing
it is like watching magic show like this you know!
how they moved the puppet but you could not see what moved it
it is like it got its own life and is moving by itself because light is refracted by the water
simply amazing!

we went to visit Mr. Ho Chi Min's Body the next day
it is heartening to see people from all walk of life coming together to pay their respect to their late leader
from kidergarden kids to old army soldiers
simply amazing
it is also amazing to know that the body is kept there for more than 40 years already

next we went to take a train to Lao Cai
it was a long ride there
the trip took around 9 hours
i wasnt really feeling very well the first few days cause of sore throat and i think i caught a cold
so went on the comfortable train
but didnt really sleep much
woke up every hour
anyway i need to share room with 3 girls on the train cause i am the odd one out

then bused to sapa
super duper cold there
plus the fact that i am not feeling well
it is worse man
but after the bus ride and the motion sickness and the throwing out
i actually felt better
and the noodle soup with chicken did me a big favour too!

it is easy to say now but the climb up was the most tiring thing i have done in my life

reached there at around 1230pm
just nice that day was my mum's birthday so i called her on the SUMMIT
cool right!

so we went to PS to get a drink

VJC prom/ocip outing

okay.
have my first official public performance yesterday night
but wasnt paid though
was invited by ming tjong(joel's friend) to perform during VJC prom night
though i wasnt paid it is good exposure though
learning table hopping stuff
and those intengible stuff that only exposure can show me
learn quite a lot and it take alot og guts to walked up to a table of strangers and start performing magic

was there at swissotel at around 130
before that i went to ming tjong house to prepare and reheresed abit
was supposed to have a 5-10 mins stage show but in the end it was cancelled
cause it wasnt supposed to be there in the first place
awwwww
we planned it the whole morning the previous day...!

took a few picture but the quality is not that fantastic

the theme of the prom is VEGAS!
just right for us to be there
with cards and magic!

OMGosh!

i am in thailand now.
though it appears to be very calm here around the hotel
somewher else in chaingmai it is very luan(messy)
cause the thai PM landed his flight in Chaingmai instead of the capital of thailand, bangkok!

and so OCIP team 2 is stuck here in Chaingmai's star hotel and we cannot even step out of this place because news reported that there are shooting is happening here in Chaingmai

so the principal told our teacher in charge (Mr benjamin Liang) to tell us to stay off the streets
and so all our plan is messed up now!
cannot go anywhere untill dinner at 6pm
it is like 10.17am now la!

we cannot buy cards cannot go shop cannot everthing and the hotel has nothing
i have no clean underwear!
i need to go buy or send to laundry!

went back to zhonghua with the zhonghuarians in SA after the teachers' day celebration in SA
when i was back in school, i realised that i really really miss that place

saw Miss Tan Seow Lan and other teachers that taught me yesterday
these are the teacehrs that will really stand by you no matter what
i guess secondary school teachers are closer to their students
unlike in JC although we spend more time in JC

SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon

woah
woke up super early to go for the SAFRA Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon
cause i lived quite far. but i saw alot of people in the train ready to go already! amazing huh
met in city hall with all the rest of the ODAC people
we all changed into our yellow tees
haha
quite nice...i like!!

next we went to the start point where mr liang looked after our bags
but i think we quite EVIL huh
make him stay there to look after our bag so letting him miss the chance of running the race

anyway Zhong Han and i wanted to squeeze all the way to the front but to no avail
the race already started
but anyhow
the place was super packed with like OCS, commandos, navy and alot alot of ns man
so we have to like "navigate" our way through the crowd which is not a very good thing
cause you need to think then need to slow down
nevermind, so we ran and we ran and we ran and we ran but still it is like 5 km ONLY!
turn around and the championchip register our timing

i also saw cheng zhong

in my super tired state i couldn't catch up with him so i continue with my own pace
in the end when i finished i was like drunk already la

then i went to take the BANANA and the 100 plus
still in my "drunk" state i went to meet mr liang with a lost rock climber
took super long to find cause i am in my "drunk" state
so we took out our championchip to redeem our finisher medal
then came back to saw a few people
wanted to go find Zhong Han but he is nowhere in sight

so help the ODAC-ers take a carton of drinks back to the meeting place
where i saw Zhong Han there
found out he almost faint at the 9Km point
HAHHAHAAHAHHA!

in the end he was brought to the finishing line by a medic
hahahah!

FINALLY!
the Pilot study for my PW has ended but my journey through PW has not
with the WR so crap that my teacher comment was "You still have a lot of work left to do. Pls do it! :)"
but okay this are a few pictures that i think is the most memorable through the pilot study.
these are those DEFINING moments

first,
this are the people that had worked with me over this past MONTH for my group's PW pilot study
lets name them, clockwise from top left hand corner, my fellow group mate, Wen Yuan, Yingwei with his "eh you want to fight isit?" face, Me, and Kenny the Imba with 75 points in CT
then there is Asry the shy kid we are working with, Alicia the in charge of YDC and Faizal another kid that we have worked with over this month.

My project is about Magic le!
How can i miss the fun and not performing on the streets!
this is me and asry performing the classic cups and balls with the Penn & Teller twist
but for ours we added another twist, that is both person talked through the routine and the final load is 3 tomatoes!

look at the number of people that we have attract to look at our duo street routine act
it is amazing even for me never had expected so many to watch
in the end we hace collected VIRTUAL "S$145 dollars"

this is Wen Yuan partnering with Asry to perform the Cups & Balls routine
it is amazing and we can really see the tranformation of Asry from a shy quiet boy to a boy that knows how to communicate what he wants
that is the impact we want to see done in out project

10KM

just finished a 10KM run outside of school with ODAC-ers
we ran from the white bridge to the end of bishan park one
IT IS SUPER DUPER FAR!
before that we ran the 8.8KM i though that that one is really long but this time
the 10KM was much shorter than i have expected
maybe it is because i ran with Dutt beside me

when i was running the 8.8KM when Dutt and Amanda overtake me
i was like super no contented
cause how can i LOSE to a girl?
so i charged to overtake them
then they overtake me again
then i charge again
this continue for around 3 times and i eventually gave up

but this time, when i was running
though they overtake me i look to them less of my competitors but more of a
how do i put it?
my target?
yar i think so
now even though they overtake me
i no longer charge to overtake them but i pace them
try to keep as close a distance as possible
i think this change of mindset really benefitted me
cause this time i ran at my peak performance
meaning for the whole route i gave it my all
i didn't slow down consciously
i keep thinking " hey Keng Chong, you didn't start the race to stop halfway OKAY!"
so then i push and push and push
and Dutt really encourage me alot la
though halfway i wanted to go toilet and he is very hungry
haha

in the end i ran 10KM just under one hour!
i ran it in 59 mins!
yeah it is an achievement to me

after the run we have a "meeting"
hope the ODAC-ers can understand why we wanted to do this
"IT IS ALL FOR YOUR OWN GOOD"

looking forward to the study sessions though

NATIONAL DAY

today is the eve of national day
this is what i feel toward the nation's birthday
tomorrow everyone in Singapore will be celebrating Singapore's 43rd birthday
we have all heard the stories about how Singapore came along way from a small fishing village to a metropolitan now
we even sing about it during the national day period "...we won't make it, but we did...but we did..."
people even go to an extent to show their patriotism by putting the national flag on their car top so they can show it off
and i am proud to say that i am proud to lived in Singapore
and i am very fortunate to be born and lived in Singapore
thats why i always sang the national anthem proudly and take the pledge seriously

but this is the part where i am very confused
everyday during the assembly while i am singing the national anthem, i can see that not everyone is like me
not even half the population
i dare say not even 60% of the population sing the anthem
what is this?
is it because they are foreigner?
i didnt know my school have that much foreigners
or isit because they think it is "cool" not to sing the anthem?
then shame on them you cannot even be proud about who you are where you come from. i think in the future they will become those people that migrate to other country to be their "2nd grade citizen" abandoning their "1st grade citizen" rights in Singapore

then what isit that when everyone is singing the national day song then they start opening their mouth?
isit because it is only when all the cool dudes do it then you all are willing to sing along?

the timing for training is not right

if we were to push then into the deep end out into the street they will just die

i can only hope they have really gone home to practice

pilot project is taking up too much
i am worrying about it everyday everytime

CCA wise i think we still have lots to settle within ourself and alot more room for improvement.

as for the other subjects i didnt score satisfactory grades either they are all below C except for chinese and maths

OCIP?

got back from OCIP camp yesterday
woah it has been a long time since i have gone through this kind of camp.
i remember the last time i went through this kind of camp was back in secondary 2 when i was in ATC

got back with aches everywhere and was tire like ... nothing can describe

but i think this time round i gone into the camp with a very different attitude altogether
last time when i was in sec 2. when i enter the camp, all that was in my mind was to out shine the entire camp and get best camper and bring glory to my school
learning was only a by product of the camp. i will just carry out all the activity and try to be as enthu and take as much initative as possible. whenever people ask to get things donw i will be the first to be there.

below is what i felt in OCIP selection camp 2008 i am not going to describe what i have gone through during the camp but what i feel about the camp. what happen during the camp can be found i think from any other person's blog that gone through the camp.

but now, when i enter the OCIP camp, i enter it with a very different attitude. my piority is to learn stuff though the camp, how to carry actuvities, how to handle people, how to motivate people. i didnt enter to be the "perfect camper" in mind. maybe through out the 2 and a half year after ATC i have change my attitude towards this kind of camps. i have been through alot of camps in my life be it in primary school secondary school or even in JC. every camp has its own objective, has its own different composure of leaders. i myself has also been in the planning of some of this kind of "endurance camp" and also "orientation camp". but in every camp, there is one cammon theme and their ultimate goal coincide. it is to let the campers learn as much as possible through the camp and that they can bond with the other campers.
isnt this the ultimate goal?

with this in mind, thats the whole point of debrief or reflections. it is to let the campers think through their activities for the day and reflect upon what they have learn from the day or from the activity. i think debrief is also for the organiser of the camp to learn something from the campers, they could learn how to more effectively organise and if they were to plan for another camp, they can apply this in it.

personnally i think that the OCIP camp was a success in general but i think it can still be improve on. like the debrief part. i know why thie do not want a informal "debrief" session. it is because they predict that everyone will just sit there and keep quite. so their debrief is in the form of a force answer type. but i think this is one way of debrief but i dont think it is very effective, those kind of "free answer" type through informal debrief is better for the ocip campers as i think they are more inclined to speak up. speak up about what they do not agree about the camp.

i think a leader is one that no only can lead and inspire the team, but also are problems solver, meaning they know what is right and wrong and if things are wrong, they have the courage to speak up to change things. that to me then is the "REAL leaders" not those people that has lots of FAKE enthusiasm and intiative during camps then after camp they are nothing. leadership is shown throughout your life not through the camp only.

PS i have completed the 2nd endurance run in my life. 1st one i didnt complete. it is a achievement on my part. and i think the 2nd endurance is much longer than the first.

PW is a major headache!
just finished PART of the DRAFT of the WR
took 4 person about 3 hours to like complete a very very simplified DRAFT of a WR!

anyway i almost got back all my results already
really very dissappointed with all my results except maths and chinese
cause i know i am capable of achieving much more than the result this time round
but i didnt do it
then i start to doubt myself
isit because i am not hardworking enough?
or isit that i dont understand the concept?
or isit PW that has taken up so much of my time that i have not much left for my other subjects? (but i think this is just an excuse i give myself to make me not so guilty of the results)

let me talk about ODAC
i did a 6 km run on wed with the rest of the ODAC-ers
we ran to bishan park from SAJC then back again
before that i did a mini endurance run during PE with kenny(supposed to be non stop for 15 mins at your own pace with a partner)
we ran 7 rounds round the track in 15 mins
that means i ran about 8km that day
WOAH! achievement!
after that we did storecheck and i was incharge(cause i am the QM)
realised that lots of stuff is like in bad condition in the store
tsk tsk!!(to those J2s that is reading) haha
joking la
i think most of the tent is we make spoil one hahhaha
we storecheck till super late but it is good la cause we roughly know where is what already
super super hungry after that so we went to eat at the shop opposite the indian temple
and the HC people are super BRIGHT haha

did another 2.4km run during training today
then we play frisbee and chukeball
i guess today training is okay la
cause alot of people didnt come
then in between games we have like lots of spare time
then nothing to do

hope the i can survive the SAFRA BAY RUN (10km) cause i pay S$10 already!

the outing was great we us trying to play 3 sports at the same time
namely fresbie, scoccer and volleyball
then after taht we ended up playing "American football" with a group of HCI's J2
they are of good sport la casue they didnt like try to injure us cause they were like bigger size
really enjoy the game good workout
we play 2 times with break in between hahah

LTC is a camp i will certainly remember!
learned how to organise and debrief and all
my advisor(seow hui) certainly taught me alot
my group leaders(zemin<---see is him again!, seow hui, valerie, chengxiang) also i also learnt alot from my group member(jingjie, tiffany, sheryl, joey, leonard<--he is a 24/7 joker)

even though this is not the 1st time i organise something,
but this is the first time someone actually commented on the things i have organise right after the game
it is quite an enriching camp
and our hard work finally paid off at campfire!

i think only half of our batch came

i think the seniors are quite angry about that because not only were we not full strength. alot of us is late too. i think if i were the seniors i will be super angry too. especially if i am the organiser la and when they have specifically tell us is 9am and they have stressed that they have zero-tolerance to late-coming!

maybe it is because we have our "last" holiday lesson the previous day
was given the maps and compass and we are supposed to like plan the route from SAJC to like erm, clark quay?!?!? what is this!
then the latecomers are supposed to run 4 rounds around the track. then at the last round, we joined them, and they are supposed to shout "WE WILL NOT BE LATE AGAIN".
then they have to help one of their groupmates carry bottle.

anyway, we trekked all the way to clark quay le! walked the serangoon road to ferrer park MRT wait awhile for zixi and luiza cause they joining us after their class. they are at potong pasir when we set off from ferrer park la, er reached little india already we still can walk to ther mrt station and wait for them! that prove that it is either we FAST of they slow haha

when we reached our destination we need to like stand at that exact spot and tell the senior that "WE ARE SURE" before they are willing to "talk" to us.

cause i wanted to go home and changed before going back to school

then we got lost while walking to his houe

okay today i shall tell you all what i did in ODAC outdoor experiential camp(OEC) 2008
i can only recount it today cause i was like super drain yesterday 2 days ago 3 days ago

Friday(25/04/08)
went to report for camp
bag check and all
got punished
and then run around the track for a few time
after that they gave us 2 more members a first aid kit(kiss kiss) and a water melon(buah long long)

so now gruop 4 have
Sijia, Dedorah, Samantha, Kengchong, Chenchao, Jingjie, Ronald, Haresh, Luiza, Buah long long, Kisskiss ![copy paste form luiza blog haha]

they said that both of them are out new members and we need to keep them in sight
after that went to pitch tent
played station games. i think the bucket one is the hardest lor
leg almost died la!
then played the school song game

trekking was a little tough ah
with all our SUPER HEAVY bags, group logistics and we are the last one la
and YOU KNOW WHAT!
we have to RUN to catch up la
so...
that make things EVEN worse

pitch tent then we realised that one of the tent lost a whole bag of poles la!!
wth!
so we guys only pitched 2 out of 3 tents
totally screw things up
then gather and went on to orienteering
given map, compass,
went around doing checkpoint and first aid senarios

i think my group did their best to do those senario already la!

ate mobile food and had HORNET ATTACK(fake one la)

after that went MAC and eat

wen to FUNORAMA today
is ACJC fund raising carnival la
a lot of stalls and alot of people!

met a lot of people that i know there man!
crazy!

but i think ACJC very very far la
eat on the bus until my butt cramp haha

went to find jarrette while he is doing road marshalling
for the 1st time

maybe it is the new environment

more of my school time will be occupied
ODAC orientation is super fun, entertaining and interesting
i think the ODAC ppl really put in alot to plan all these
